About

Somewhere I had gone through an anonymous quotation which runs “Doctors bury their mistakes, lawyers hang them and journalists put theirs on the first page”. Though we are always told to lessen our mistakes, but to be a good pressman, you must have a bunch of mistakes to make you someone in your desired profession. “Mistakes make a man perfect” is another pivotal example of success.
Every day we make mistakes unknowingly and even more, knowingly. We know what the actual truth behind some wrongdoings is, but we suppress it for some inexpressible reasons. What is lacking in us the fearlessness of mind and raising the voice. As Tagore wrote, “Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high”, that’s what all need first to be a man, then, the flag bearer of truth, i.e. a journalist.
This is Chandrakana Ray, who was born and brought up in the City of Joy, Kolkata. After finishing Bachelors’ from University of Calcutta, I moved to Bengaluru, with the dream of becoming a Journalist.
